Open Source Post Production Unit

The Seen Films Open Source Post Production Unit is a complete service unit for independent films that includes editing, mixing, color correction, converting, and mastering of films, videos, programs, and any other type of media and moving image.

The Seen Films Open Source Post Production Unit usess a dual operating system: Linux and Apple Macintosh, but within the two systems support and pushes for the use of free and open source software. It additionally provides copies and images of these FOSS programs and operating systems for professionals filmmakers.
 
In addition to providing technical services to the film, Seen seeks to spread the concepts of freedom of content and creative exchange and sharing. Hoping to create a practical platform for convergence: creative and technical cooperation between young professionals with creative projects via digital sharing tools. The process also situates the "post-production" in the middle of cooperative creative activities such as the Seenima Club and the Subjective Creative Writing Workshop.
 
The Seen Films Open Source Post Production Unit provides its services in rewarding equivalence to the type and license of the creative; we provided and continue to provide our services completely free of charge for non-commercial projects or any project which utilizes an open license or without licensing all together.
 
Seen Films is currently developing a complete post production suite and mirrors for different specifications based on open source softwares. Coming soon a chart of progress and landmarks.
